Patricia Henao Saavedra
Country Director, Colombia
Patricia Henao Saavedra is an industrial engineer with a master's degree in environmental sciences. As Pact's Colombia country director, she leads two U.S. Department of Labor-funded projects, one for the reduction of child labor in coal and gold artisanal and small-scale mining, and one for women's empowerment in the cut flower and unrefined sugar subsectors. With more than 15 years of experience in international development, she has held roles including M&E director for a USAID capacity building program in Afghanistan, acting chief of party, programming and planning officer, livelihoods expert, rural development expert, and gender and environmental coordinator.
