Yodit Yimenu
Program Manager, Ethiopia
Yodit is a program management specialist with experience designing, managing, implementing and reporting on international donor-funded projects in Ethiopia. Her technical expertise areas include peacebuilding, capacity development, women’s empowerment, prevention of gender-based violence (GBV) and livelihoods development. She is adept in community-level interventions, building effective stakeholder relations and partnership development. Before Pact, she managed the Cash for Community Cohesion Project, a cross-border effort implemented by the Intergovernmental Authority on Development and funded by GIZ. Her previous management roles include the USAID-funded activity under the Human Rights Support Mechanism that focused on raising awareness of and addressing challenges brought on by increased GBV incidence during the Covid-19 pandemic in Ethiopia.
