This report presents results from a mineral processing study conducted by Pact and Magma, in partnership with artisanal and small-scale gold mining stakeholders in Mauritania during 2022-2023. The study is meant to assist the government with their evaluation and consideration of alternatives to the use of mercury for the extraction of gold.
